Hit the Ground Running

Now with the drop ships back door fully opened squads started pouring out the drop ship. Each squad marking on their teams map locations they want to land and start looting. “Alright Ark let’s get this we will be landing Labs.” Remi said. After a few seconds my squad and I stood up went to the back of the drop ship and jumped. Wow is this amazing free falling from the sky! Just soaring through the air like it was nothing. As we approached the ground we keep our eyes out for any other teams choosing the same location as ours, but luckily for us we were the only squad. Their are two sets of big doors to go through to enter labs. On the outside though was a hill and on top of that hill sat a few loot bins, a building and a larger tower that was shooting some kind of portal out of it. I walked up to the building and opened up the door. On the ground was a body shield (white), a R99 and some light ammo for the gun. I equipped the body shield which would let me take 50points of extra damage with out cutting into my health points. Each player is allotted with 100hp and from their each hit you take your HP goes down. Hit zero and you will be “knocked” from there two things can happen. First your teammates can pick you up bringing you back with 20hp, from there you can heal yourself back up to a hundred. Second if you are knocked and an enemy player comes over and finishes you it’s not over but you will be out for a bit. If you were finished your teammates have the chance to pick up your banner and respawn you, but be careful you won’t come back with no weapons or shields. Now with at least one of two gun equipped my team and I entered the Labs. We walked down the stairs and behind the second lab door was room with two doors, one on each side. Then two hallways that went left of one door and right of the other. I went left with Remi and Leo went right by himself. As I walked down the corridor I came up to a door on my left. I opened it up and on the room was a bunch of loot. There was a build shield, ammo, backpacks, health, shields and grenades. I picked up the back pack and started filling it with ammo, health, shields and grenades. After a few second I could hear foot steps approaching, I quickly swung around pointing my R99 at the door when Leo walked in. “Hey come on there is one more room it the back lab where the portal is come on.” Leo said as he beckoned me to come with him. I followed further down the all where we came to this room filled with computers and a huge black hole. “What is this” I asked. “It’s a portal either you can enter it while following out the sky to end up here or you can jump through and here and get launched into the sky so you can find a new spot to drop.” Remi replied. Leo pulled out a little small box from his pocket as he preached a button a small 3D hologram of the map appeared. “I think we jump through this portal and hit water treatment next. If we land here be will have some cover and we can hold down the house.” Leo said. We all looked at each other and shook our heads when we heard footsteps above the labs. “You hear that? Looks like we got our first fight. Let’s hold them at the big bay doors and if starts going back everyone to the portal and meet at water treatment.” Leo said as we ran down the hall setting up for our first fight. With my gun in hand ready to pull the trigger at any moment I was ready. I sat just barley around the corner, good enough for me to see the bay doors and enough cover it would be hard to hit me. The first set of the bay doors opened and you could hear them slowly walk down the stairs. They were right outside the doors. Now with my heart racing I was ready. Ready to fight and move through the ranks to Apex predator.
